Of choking out the engine? If you were asking me.
The plugs were fouling and when I took off the air cleaner it ran much better and the plugs are burning correctly. Ran with it off.
The air cleaner is chocking out the engine.
I saw I am missing the ring that goes between the carb and the air cleaner. See the pic.
Will this solve the problem?

A question... had major carbon build up on the plugs after the seafoam treatment. Changed plugs, then did a tune up that included new points, distributor. Adjusted the choke and the car was idling better than ever. Did a compression test and all cylinders are great.
Drove it 100 yards and it...
Tried the treatment. After running 20 miles it fowled the plugs. Pulled them and they were covered with chunks little of oil and oil. Replacing the plugs. Definitely loosened something up. Should I just run or try another treatment?
