    Rear wheel well tabs

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I can see evidence that they were pointing down at one time. Assuming that they were used at assembly time to set the alignment of the quarter panel and outer wheel house as the outer wheelhouse lip is not as wide as the quarter panel lip. Brian

    Rear wheel well tabs

Restoring my 70 Duster and was wondering how the 4 tabs on the outer rear wheel well housing lip should get positioned, or bent. My 70 Duster has them pointing in towards the center of the car. Seems more logical that they should have been bent up to get them completely out of the way. Wondering...

[WANTED] 1970 Duster drivers door in poor condition

Just the inner part of an empty shell. Don't need any latch or window hardware. Prefer the whole inner piece. Would take a complete door if the price is right but inner panel is all I really need. Thanks. BrianH

[WANTED] 1970 Duster drivers door in poor condition

Looking for a drivers side door for a 1970 Duster. Rusted and dented preferred as I am only interested in the inner stamping. Previous owner cut holes for speakers without first removing the door panel so I need to do some patching in. Prefer something within 2 hour drive from Spartanburg SC. I...

Assembly line battery tray, 70 Duster

A question for the concours guys. What are the differences between a 1970 Duster assembly line battery tray and the current best repops, which from what I've read on these forums, are patterned after NOS service pieces? Any help appreciated. Thanks. Brian

    One piece brake line set

Time for brake lines. 1970 340, manual, disc/drum. Looked under car today and it's a one piece front to rear line. Inline tube doesn't show a one piece F to R set for 1970 but does for 71-72 (PAB7006). Would the 71 set work? Any help appreciated. Brian

A few questions about "new" car

Pics will be loaded from PC, once I load them onto it from my phone. Took out seats, carpet, rear seat side panels, trunk divider and package tray this past weekend. No additional BC sheets found. Felt up around the back of the glove box insert and didn't feel anything there. Haven't take off...

A few questions about "new" car

Thanks for the replies. I went back out to the garage and did a close examination of one the larger flakes of paint I was able to get up from the floorpan and it does look gray on the backside. I guess the adhesion isn't that good as Alaskan TA said. I should have said seam sealer instead of...

A few questions about "new" car

Newbie here! This is my first post on the FABO site so please bear with me if some of the questions I ask seem simple. The last Mopar I owned (70 340 Duster) was from 1975 to 1979. Brought home a "new" numbers matching 70 340 Duster last weekend and started cleaning on it today. Pulled seats and...
