I realize this is an old thread but curious if anyone has more current info on the swap as I was able to purchase on bid a wrecked 2015 dodge 1500 with 5.7 and 8 speed that only has 6k miles on it for 600 bucks

thanks again dave, arrived today, the trim is way better condition than I expected, outstanding!!!

dash pad is 1 year only and 795 last I looked new, they only make 68-69 window gaskets that work fine on the 67, but you have to find the window trim because the gaskets leave gaps, 67 year only idler arm but swap for later model k member or custom build a bracket on k member, lots of 1 year...

I believe the 2.7, the 3.7, and the 4.7 to be of Mercedes design, down fall on all those engines are the cost of replacement parts, look at timing chain set costs alone. . . .

Normally I would say go for the studs, but I will be using bolts otherwise to remove the drivers side head you will have to remove the booster and or master cylinder, or if your real froggy take the engine out lol

I love my Hobart 140, its only 110 but will do everything I ask it to, and if I ever need to build an armored vehicle I have an old cold war era 220v stick welder buzz box....well maybe not that old...lol

any good rear window trim at a reasonable cost?

got a straight bumper? don't need brackets and could care less if its pitted or bad chrome, front and rear are the same......ty
