My motor should be back together and at the dyno in two weeks so I figured I would see how accurate some of you guys are.

1974 360 .30 over
Stock crank and rods
Keith black 107s
Eddie ootb performer heads
Eddie performer rpm intake
Mp purple cam .484 lift
Mp lifters
Holly 750 dp
Mp electronic ignition
Hooker headers.

I'll post results and closest guess gets a thanks :)

Cam not great for a whole lotta power. Maybe 375. With a little help from the heads and overbore maybe you could get 460.

One dollar, Bob.

350 is my goal. I was going to go with a new cam as well just hadn't made up my mind yet. What can would you all recommend for that motor?

Right at 400hp or a bit more when tuned up.

That cam works very well and is very large from a duration at .050 standpoint. I hope it's the 108 lobe center one and not the 114 POS.

A 360 with stock 2.02 j heads, 9.5, air gap, xe268H will make 350ish. This engine will likely have a bit more compression and another 16-18 degrees of duration at .050. Makes a big difference.

Did the same combo for a customer last fall except Edelbrock air gap and Comp Cams 20-224-4 camshaft. Made 422HP

God now I'm getting all fired up. I built this motor for my street car but I am debating putting it in the race car when I buy one.

417 hp @6000 418 lb ft @4500

I am pretty sure you will have a stout combination.
My 94 mag with 107's and eddy heads has 11.37 static compression, with over 200 psi cranking compression.

Well I got a trip this weekend but the block crank and pistons should be back from the machine shop next weekend and hopefully on the dyno the weekend after that. I dropped the lifters and they got out of order though. Should I just get a new cam and lifters to be safe or can I just go through the break in process again and be ok.

You will need new lifters, but that's all. Break it back in just like anew cam and lifter set. It will be fine.

If running the .484 Purple ,on a 108, ootb Eddy's 395-410 h.p,@ 6000-6200, peak torque, 410- 420 @4800-5000.

Had that cam, stock eddies, piston combo in a 340 with a M1 intake, ttis and 750 sport claw. Not a lot of torque down low but she ran good to 7200.
My uneducated clueless guess. 411hp @ 6600 and 417 @ 4800
