Thanks for the detailed info you posted about the tranny swap. I am planning to do a auto to 6 speed on my 68 notch.

I am really glad you guys are tackling this. I am looking for a hemi now to do the swap into my 68 notch. It will most likely end up with the 5.7 and a 6 speed. This info will help me and guys like me a bunch. Thanks again.

Looking for a a body driveshaft that came out of a car with a 727 tranny at least 45" long, I have a 68 barracuda with a 727 and a dana 60. So I am trying to find a driveshaft that I can have cut to 44" and have the correct end put on. Thanks

I just joined fabo and am doing a 68 barracuda. I live near Topeka also. I work with a ton of motor heads so maybe we can swap ideas. And places to get work done. Larry

Hi, first post here. I am buidling a 68 barracuda, I have a new dana 60 and am about to put on springs and torsion bars. I am thinking Hotchkiss springs and firm feel 1.12 torsion bars. My questions are these: will I need a drop torsion bar to make the ride height correct with the Hotchkiss...
