Yes, in the crate wiring kit instructions it says the Hemis are put in the new cars at 2 degrees down. Most engines are 2-4 degrees down. With the other oil pan it was about 3.5 degrees down. I need to put it on wheels and see what the clearance is from ground to oil pan. My car will have a bit...
In case anyone is paying attention or wondering in years to come. I switched out the fabricated mid sump Weiand oil pan to a Mopar rear sump pan. I gained some room forward and down. Angle is now 2.5 degrees down. I cut out the windshield wiper area, the firewall bellhousing area and a small...
I looked at a picture of one, it looks like it will be a very good fit. It appears to be a lot smaller. I will just flip it upside down and mount on the firewall like original.
Thank you!
Yeah, it is pretty old. The same welded shock towers. Interesting! I will see about reinforcing that area. never ends. Don’t think this car will ever run again.
I am using the Mopar kit with the Sound German transmission kit.

It is never too late. I really wanted to take advantage of all the new technology. That is half the reason these engines work so well. I did think about using a different intake. Maybe I should.
No, I think people are putting the engines in different position based on what aftermarket parts they have and what is easiest. I could have used the truck rear sump oil pan and put the engine 3” forward. Would have made fitment easier.
I did a search and only found one. His engine sits a bit lower than mine. I had to cut off the bottom stud.
It is weird how engines are sitting so different from car to car. I also saw someone said they did not need to modify the trans tunnel in their 67 Barracuda convertible. Mine is...
Just wondering what people are using for a windshield wiper motor. The factory 6.4 intake SRV takes the same room as the bottom bolt for the factory WWM.
Thank you!
That is pretty neat! Thank you!
After I bought the B body headers Holley came out with the A body headers so I bought those just in case. They should work well.
