    Tail light lens

For 69 Cuda: my driver side brake light lens has a small section broken off (at the base) can you buy a lens? if so from whom or is the lens part of the tail light assemble? I am just a brake bleed off from getting the car registered and I'm worried that they might knock it back when I go for...

Different length to parking brake levers

G'day fellows, just to give you a update, I think that I have got it worked out. First I laid the arm on bench ('tuning fork' end up) and measured the gap between the cut outs and it worked out at 168m (just under7"?) I then got in contact with Elko spares in Melbourne and send them pictures of...

    Which way does cable go

Got another problem, when I pulled drum brakes apart I took photos on phone, then some low life stole it. I can put brakes back together all right but I got confused on which way the cable for the auto adjuster goes. I remember than on the front (10") and rear (11") left hand side-driver side...

Different length to parking brake levers

I just set up the brakes with the bar in place I would need to file out 25.3 mm (about 1" of metal) before I could get the shoes to meet on the pin, something is really wrong here, has anyone got an old lever that they can give me the measurements for? Monaro

Different length to parking brake levers

Thanks mate, that is exactly the problem I'm having. I have thought of that but I don't want to attack it until I'm sure that it is in fact the correct part. Because there are 2 description for the same part there must be some difference between them. Also did you take out the most metal from...

Different length to parking brake levers

I have finally got my car (69 Cuda) sorted except for rear 11" brakes. I need them to be fully overhauled including drums ( I adapter Ford 11" drums to fit -cost of drums and freight from US would make you faint ) The problem is that the parking brake levers were missing when I got the car, I...

    69 rear drum question

I have the 'bell' drums (small bolt pattern) that are u/s. Do the 'normal' 10" drums fit? and where can I get them -again small bolt pattern. Cheers, Monaro.

Drum vs Disc, Power vs non Power

That's 10" drums, have to start proof reading.

Drum vs Disc, Power vs non Power

Another thing to take into account, I'm having trouble locating 10" for my 69 Cuda. The better brands have dropped them (one bloke quoted $400 for each drum-Bendix). I can get 'no name' ones over here for about $280 a pair, which would be about the same cost as to get them from the states to...
