Got another problem, when I pulled drum brakes apart I took photos on phone, then some low life stole it. I can put brakes back together all right but I got confused on which way the cable for the auto adjuster goes. I remember than on the front (10") and rear (11") left hand side-driver side...

I just set up the brakes with the bar in place I would need to file out 25.3 mm (about 1" of metal) before I could get the shoes to meet on the pin, something is really wrong here, has anyone got an old lever that they can give me the measurements for? Monaro

Another thing to take into account, I'm having trouble locating 10" for my 69 Cuda. The better brands have dropped them (one bloke quoted $400 for each drum-Bendix). I can get 'no name' ones over here for about $280 a pair, which would be about the same cost as to get them from the states to...
