I have a nice 8.25" 3.55 gear set. Threads and splines (27) on pinion gear are perfect, as well as all the teeth on both pinion and ring gear. All looks to have minimal wear. They are from an early 8.25" 27 spline rear end.10 bolt ring gear. Trade for a bottle of jack! you pay shipping if needed!

Well, this weekend we were able to remove the driver side head and the front timing cover, as well as the MDS cam and lifters. And installed a 6.1 purple cam and set the timing, double checking to make sure it was correct. Then re-installed the front timing cover. hoping to have the motor...

So after some shake down and 1 step forward and 2 back we finally got it right and @seanner now has 4spds shifting and working well. With exception of a nonworking lockup torque converter but that's a problem for another time. -What we did do was finally started the tear down of the barracuda...
