Just noticed on AccuWeather that the system isn’t supposed to get here until 3:00-ish now. Then I jumped over to MPR, and they said the system slowed down in the Dakotas, so…. Thanks for taking one for the team!

Based on the number of barbed wires that are imbedded deep into the trees we have around the edge of our property here: 4 feet. Also, when I was wee lad I carved my initials into a pine tree where we used to fish. Many years later I checked, and the initials were still the same height.
