I have a 1976 thru 79 318 that I just rebuilt. Which way does the slot in the internediate shaft or oil pump gear point to? One way tells me pointing straight forward and one way tells me pointing towards the front left intaje bolt. Please help.

This is a 73 correct? Where the pitman arl goes through the top of the center link with the nut on the bottom? Just want to make sure.
