Well. Having voltage issues.
And it’s killing the battery so often I’m sick of lifting the 9,000 lb trunk to charger the battery. So I’m installing jumper posts in the fake reverse lights in the bumper.
But if you know who the alternator keeps trying to go to 16v let me know. Haha
Only thing wrong was driving around town. On dual 950 cfm carbs. Smelling like gas all the time gave me a headake. So I converted it to fuel injection. That’s a efi hat.
Mounted the Holley 7.5” on the overhead rollbar. I had some 3” rubber insulated hose straps. I just drilled a new hole in the back of them to make a stud and connected it to the back with the factory hardware.
I can’t get a wrench back there so they are just finger tight but, the rubber is in...
summit brand. 85 Amp. Looks just as good as the day I bought it. Replacing it for a 130 amp-er because of all the electronics I added to the car. Also including the electronic voltage regulator, it’s nothing special. Napa or autozone, I think I got it from.

Well I added a fuel pressure gauge to the Holley system so I could keep a eye on that massive fuel pump.
Took it on her first efi drive to a car show and wine first place in the mopar category. Yeayy!
Found a few bugs. First one is that the voltage regulator gets suuuper hot and the car does...
Well the water pump housing does not have a recess for a restrictor plate. Nor does the t stat housing...
The engine builder says no t stat. The radiator company becool said to use one. Or a restrictor plate minimum. That the water moves through the engine too fast with out it.
So I decided...
Well I want to tackle the over heating problem. Sick of it. So I’m going to install a restrictor plate... but they r like 15 bucks for a set. Why?
I’ll make my own!
i have changed my car over to fuel injection and have no need for this stuff any more. Nothing wrong with anything.
Two Holley 950 double pump supercharger carbs ( synced and jetted for a 440. Have glass sight bowls on each side and four corner idle adjustment screws )
