Good Deal, I have a 70 Dart GT which is listed on the fender tag as a Custom. I was going to change it to a Swinger like I had when I was 19 but left it as a GT with a 408 in it. Good luck with your project and enjoy every minute of it!
Hey, it's Bill from Norwin with the 70 Dart GT 408 rebuild. I finished the car and drove it around the block a couple of times yesterday, and I can't seem to get rid of this big smile on my face! Any suggestions?
If it doesn't turn over, it may be a wire possibly running to the starter. It sounds like you have a break in one of your wires, when it heats up it expands and pulls apart and after it cools it contracts and makes contact again. Good Luck.

I am having the same problem. I noticed that if I stick my tester into the blue connecter behind the kick panel and ground the other end of the tester to the body I get a correct reading on the gauge. When I disconnect the tester the gauge drops to 1/4 full. I just finished repairing the printed...
I got it fixed by soldering #14 solid copper wire into the backs of the prong terminals and soldering small gauge wires in to gap a break in 1 of the circuits. Thank you all for the help, Bill R.
