  • Interesting info you posted,on non TTY bolts. Back in machine shop class, non tty head bolts were measured to lose 4% clamping force,each re-use. That was on Ford & Chevy measured.

    Nuts Magnum 5.2 combo,I forgot about.(in line,with your 5.0 knowledge).
    94 Magnum 5.2, factory pistons and rods. 8.86 cr. Template ported magnum heads with 1.97 int 1.62 exh. 241 cfm @ .550 lift flowed at 28", Scorpion 1.72 roller rockers, Krc roller 210/220 @ .050 .538 lift at the valve, 114 lsa,(blower grind), Hughes engines springs and retainers, M1 efi ported intake manifold with 52mm throttle body, Hooker super comp 1-5/8 longtubes with dual 3" exh with x-pipe, walker race bullet and magnaflow mufflers, 8-1/4 axle with 4.10 gears, 2400 stall, 3800 lbs w/driver. Dynoed 290 rwhp. Ran a best of 13.27 @ 102.88 shifting at 6200 rpm. I can only imagine how this would run in my 1970 Dart.
    Looks like a good car to start with. I think the rebuilding is (almost) as much fun as having them and driving them. After three and a half years of rebuilding though, I think I can relate with a pregnant woman on one level. I'm tired of this part now. I just want to get this baby out and play with it. Ha Ha.
