    904 2-3 flare (again)

It would have been nice if the transmission came with that instruction. I've messaged the shop again, and asked them if this us in fact the case. (They're supposed to be a reputable shop) The trans is out now. So the clutch pack will at least be getting inspected before it goes back in...

    904 2-3 flare (again)

Is this a thing? The shop who built it said the kickdown linkages could be deleted?

    904 2-3 flare (again)

Best of all, My phone slipped out of my pocket, and landed in the drain pan full of the trans fluid I'd drained out too. Even better, I didnt realise for about ten minutes.......

    904 2-3 flare (again)

904, manual valve body, "drag free". Behind a mild stroker. (Iron heads, flat tappet cam) built by a reputable shop. Its always had a flare on the 2-3 shift when shifted at wide open throttle. A search of this forum says incorrect kickdown linkage adjustment can be the culprit. However being...

318 head porting for the average joe

So what numbers is it flowing with just the bigger valve added? Do you have a picture of what you used to make the 70° cut?

Is there such thing as a good lifter?

I'm no machinist, but I would have thought soluable oil would have been more appropriate than wd40 as a cutting lubricant? Walk into a machine shop, and the place stinks of it. (I quite like the smell, it reminds me of freshly machined engine parts) Edit, @ that LA-Phant video

318 head porting for the average joe

Hey @MOPAROFFICIAL Any progress with the above picture? I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who's curious to see what kind of numbers the larger valve produces?

67-69 Dart front fender bracing structures.

Please dont flame me if this has been thrashed out before, I've got a '70 aussie chrysler valiant sedan. The body's are very similar to the 67-69 dart/valiant/etc. (I'm not sure about the nuances between those models, as they were never sold here) About 15 years ago I had it all paneled and...

    [WANTED] 302 heads

I'm looking for a pair of 302 heads. A family friend has a container leaving Seattle to come down here to New Zealand in a bit over a week. So the closer to Seattle the better. (I'm not a wealthy man, and iron heads aren't going to be cheap to send too far) Anybody able to help?

When is a 904 too small?

At what power level is a 904 no longer big enough? Here's the story. a couple of years Back My dad bought a drag free 904 w/full manual valve body from a reputable shop. The car is an Aussie Valiant hardtop. (Very similar to a 68 Dart) Runs a 340/418 stroker. In the time it's been in there...

    904 Flares on 2-3 shift?

I think we do need to talk to the guys who built the trans. They're a reputable firm, with many many glowing reports on the www. I also googled my problem and found a number of similar threads. (Most on this site! Haha.)
