Has anyone put a "modern" suspension on their A-body (mine's a 72 Swinger) with parts found in a junkyard? I know you can just about do anything if you have the knowledge. That's why I'm asking.

Ive been talking to a guy about his A-833 transmission. It came out of a late 80's pickup and he said it worked on his 70 /6 pickup. Will it work on my 70 /6 Duster??? Both are 225's, and he said I would need to adapt it and that there are tons of articles about swapping auto. trans. to...

Even if the turbo would bolt right up I don't think it's anywhere close to the correct size. Just a thought. While turbo-ing my 225 would be pretty cool, that's something I would only consider after a proper overhaul.

What year and engine size for the lancer?

Well I have my duster vents. I just don't know if I'm missing any parts. Probably I am!

"Cut .050 off the deck and the same off the head to bump the compression up to 9.5 to 1. YOU DID measure it right," I haven't done anything to the engine at all. So should I be able to cut .050 off both without worrying about it? Not that it wouldn't get measured anyways.
