I'll confess I'm no torque converter engineer, but I believe the smaller the converter is for a "like" stall the more efficient it is, i.e. You don't have to put the loud pedal down
as far to get it to move/cruise. Most folks don't make the jump to an 8" due to $$$, that's not a bad deal so it's up to You to try it, would really hit that cam in it's sweet
spot for sure.
