Wow he wants a fortune. There was a set on CL 6 months ago for $950. I would just buy the Shumaker headers
 
Does Shumaker fit better than TTIs or Dougs?
 
Same here with a 440 in a 74 dart and power steering!

FYI... this is the ultra rare 440 A body manifold, just the driver side is unique very rare!! (Note upside down P# on drivers side) For a real resto on a M code car this is what you would need.
Still way over priced I agree. This is not just a B engine A body manifold. Regular A Body sets are in the $6-8 Hundred range these days now from what I have been seeing.
 
Its crazy what people will ask for parts these days. I believe this is the third time around for those a body 440 manifolds . What is even crazier is some of the people I have ran into agree with me and then go ahead and ask triple the price.
 
who ever buys those manifold, I would like you stop by and shop my parts hoard.

I would bet that is what happened because that is outrageous even for the biggest dreamer out there.

I'd never sell them for $750 if they were mine. I'd buy Schumacker long before I'd pay $7,500, but I don't have an original "69" 440 A body.
 
that's no typo, he's wanting an additional 125 for shipping. he's just a greedy douche trying to rape another car enthusiast.
 
The Drivers side is super rare and almost impossible to find. I know a guy who is asking $10K for a set. The ones you seen for $750 were 383 Manifolds. The passenger side is all the same but that drivers side is 440 only A Body manifold is the money shot.

for $200 more u could get a set of tti`s that would far outpower the factory cast iron slugs.
 
A person restoring a M code Dart or Barracuda would not want TTI headers if doing the car total OEM regardless of cheaper. If and I say if a guy really needs the OEM as built for their car manifolds then this is what they will seek out. I dont think TTI headers are part of the equation/ consideration to the person who wants these manifolds. But the price on these is crazy high....I guess a home run out of the park is what will win this game for the seller?
