Spent the day with Tom340 and his yellow Duster. We ran our cars 3 times each and had a blast. My best time was 14.64 @ 95MPH. I'll let Tom report his own times, but they were better than mine! LOL
His wife Carol took a bunch of pix, so maybe he'll post them up.
My car burned 1 tank of gas all day, including 5 hours on the highway up/back as well as the 3 runs. Car ran like a top all day!
Man, what a great day we had!
Sorry I didn't say goodbye when we left, Tom, but we looked for ya's and couldn't find ya. Hopefully we'll see ya's again soon.

What car was it George?
My son probably took pictures of them. I'l download them after dinner and post them up.

I only saw Walt up there. I didn't know who the rest of the people were.
I was there with my wife and 4 kids.

This one, Mopower.
Wish I knew there were more menbers there today.

I seen you guys roll thru the swap meet area,I had the white 92 Daytona with all the parts in front of it For sale,Great weather,Great people and some really beautiful cars.Didn't sell crap though even at giveaway prices,This economy is a real toilet and making me think twice about selling anything anymore.

I was there with this..saw you George, but didn't know who you were,by the way beautiful car you got there..
I saw your car too stroked340. I didn't know who you were either, but I did drool a little when you went by us in the pits a couple times. NICE Duster.

Moparclown, we entered the pits through the swap area when we arrived. Musta been then that you saw us.
I didn't notice your Daytona. Was it in the swapmeet?

I saw a bunch of people spinning off the line.
Also something looks odd in the right lane. Rear tires on a bunch of cars were bouncing in the right lane right around the 60'mark

I didn't find any pictures of your car George. Sorry.
I think they were already running first round when we got there, so I might have missed some.
I don't even have a picture of the 7 sec Challenger.

Yeah, no problem brutha. Hey, I won the first round of eliminations! :D

Left for home after that round though.

I was at the show. You gotta luv those Mopars. I took a few photos and ill try to post them up in a post soon .I bought a splash of that 108 octain gas for my dart :)Oh and I wish theyd move those stipid golfcarts out of the way near the waterbox. They were really causing a crappy view of the launches. sux

I saw you and Tom run George.. I saw the first and second rounds then left. My buddy Randy w/his Coronet won the street class but I missed the last round. I missed 340, but I did catch the Top Sportsman Cuda going 7.4-something. It was a great day.
Clown - I thought pretty much everything was priced to match a market that doesnt exist any more. I came with some cash but I ended up only buying food with it.

Jim,
Thanks for posting the picture link. You got a nice shot of my Dart in there.
Is there a way you could email the pic to me? It is copywrite protected.
Lots of nice cars up there yesterday. I loved the A12 Roadrunners. There was about 4 of them there! The green one was a F.A.S.T car.

Moper,
I wish you came by to say hello. Tom & I were right at the end of the main pit road, back by the gate near the entrance to the staging lanes. Would have been nice to meet you.

I had a BLAST yesterday!

George

The cars I was with were all just the other side.. You guys probably backed up to each other...lol. I am TERRIBLE with walking up and saying hi. I'll talk to anyone next to me... but as for just wandering the pits and introducing myself I don't...lol. It was fun tho. Next year I'll bring a car. We should get FABO stickers or something for days like that...
