Thanks Jack Mike and Joe.I figured I would get hate mail. A little support even though my views aren't popular sure helps the desperation depression feelings. It's rough when you start doubting your self worth.
You are very welcome Pete and I know the feeling. I felt like absolute crap when I lost my job and started to severely doubt my self-worth as well. It's a pain that reaches to the core of an independent, self-sufficeint man. It really is an internal struggle that can tear a man in two.
I found that the only thing that helped me was to try to help with technical advice, help my local friends with stuff and write posts like "How Interveiw and Write a Resume'". At least it made me feel somewhat useful. :-D
