I agree! I never said ugly, I said unpopular for restoration. Which is true they have faded from popularity. I love it; it has an elegant blend of 50's aesthetics, like the small tail fins and 3 dimensional tail lights, and 60's aesthetics the big headlights, and sportier grille (and stock hubcaps but a lot of people don't use those). Theres also a stately or official look to mine in particular, because someone added those stock looking but actually aftermarket rain guards over the window long ago.
