I have a brand new Milodon 7 qt Pro Touring oil pan and accy's that fit small blocks. I initially installed it on my Magnum 360 to put into my 66 Cuda but the aftermarket tubular frame and control arm setup wont let this monster of a pan clear, so I am sell it. I paid over $800 for the setup...
I think he means he is missing a door detent rod like found on a lot of other brands. Mounts between the hinges.
Not on MoPars. Mopar’s have a door check built into the lover hinge. When they go bad the hinge needs to be rebuilt.
In my case, the arm and the adjuster bar/anchor are rusted together, thereby not allowing any ride height adjustment. I hope to have it freed up in the coming days.
Worst comes to worst- call Dana at FBO.
Her or her distributor builder will help you out. I just did the distributor and box / coil package on the Barracuda and really made a difference over HEI.
yes, that is correct. the adjuster moves the anchor of the bar-- which the bushing is pressed into. this is why it's critical that the LCA pin nut be loose when adjusting ride height, otherwise the bushing tears and fails quickly.
The lightweight Fentons were the hot-set-up before the Cragar Super Tricks showed up in around 72. If you can find them, they are the same for just one as a whole set of US Mags.
add Fenton stickers and most don't know the difference.
I checked the wiring at the ECU for pins 4 and 5 coming from the distributor pickup and it's at 313 ohms and the pickup connector at the distributor is at 311 ohms.
In reality, we all have to adjust the lash static before we fire it up. I read you check lash in more than one spot also. I adjusted valves static for years, never had a problem.
I had Maaco paint a truck for my company a few years back. They told me up front all my options: single stage or BC-CC. 1,3or 5 year life span. Primers and a few other things. All price points.
It was a work truck and they would not sell me a plan longer than 5 years which was a single stage...
Local guy here prepped his car himself - removed all the trim, lights, door handles himself and drove it to Macco. It looks good, and a year later it it holding up just fine.
Great first show and my Daughter and grandkids live in Fargo, ND so we were able to see them, they came over and stayed at the hotel with us for the weekend..............
just curious..... that was a long way to go for a car show when you got the molly-cocker (Carlisle) almost in your backyard. did you need the practice?
Sorry, I should have said "torsion bar socket". There is rotation (not much) of the angle between the adjusting arm in the middle of the LCA and the lower control arm itself ONLY when you adjust the ride height. The rest of the time, there is no rotation between the LCA and the torsion bar socket..
Hey all.
Been driving my 67 273 dodge dart. Recently I topped off my fuel on accident because my fuel gauge is wonky. Usually when I am filling up the pump will click really early so I go more and then end up topping it off on the second click.. However last week when this happened my car...
