    Where do yo want more power ? Where is it lacking most now, low mid high ? If it's down low, there's probably not much to be gained besides CR and gears if you want more than that in the low and mids, cid is the best way, mids and high cylinder heads is probably gonna give the best return...

    If I was going to throw darts, it would be steering column. The right way is at this point is to disconnect the battery and test for cross wire short if there is nothing visually obvious.     It’s about 45 minutes southeast of Norwalk. Owners just spent a ton on it few years back completely renovating the place. By all accounts super place to race. 1/4 mile facility. I have yet to go there, this event will be my first visit, but I know a lot of guys who have raced there.

    Best Electronic Ignition Setup for a 273

    Any 340 or Mopar Performance electronic distributor and electronic system will work well. New cap, rotor, Taylor Spiro Pro wires , platinum plugs. I'll second having halifaxhops setting up any electronic distributor to high performance specs.

    Are you sure it's not: A loose converter bolt? Cracked flex plate? Loose balancer bolt? Loose lower pulley bolts? How many miles are on it? if it has a bad rod or main bearing why would it need bored out again. Must take apart and know what's wrong first.

    Mine ran almost those exact numbers with 500 crank hp. But it was 1200 lbs lighter, at the starting line. So, if you are a third heavier, a third more power . My guess:750 + crank.
