what is up with ebay now?

I don't either, but lets be fair. I don't trust them at all on either side. They're all crooks. We just have to choose which we think is the lesser crook. Sad ain't it?

How would you rebuild this 318?

Are you happy with the power output now? If so, All I would do is put a crank kit in it. You don't bore one "just cause you want to", you bore it if it needs it. Does it smoke now? Use any oil now? Those compression numbers IMO are pretty good with a non stock cam. That tells me rings and valves...

    Hood clearance Question

Thanks everyone for their recommendations, thought about it over night and leaning towards: 1. Clay to determine hood clearance and decide what phenolic spacer might fit. 2. Installing fuel filter/Vapor separator used on 72-78 B bodies

[WANTED] WANTED; 1967 Dart or Barracuda bucket seats with headrests or just the headrests

Just so you know I tried putting those headrests on my non headrest seats and could not do it because the frame of the seat was different and did not have the holes to accept them and did not want to cut up my redone seats to do it so im just going to redo the seats with the headrests

First the horn started blowing on its own, Then the starter cranks when you push the clutch in! wtf help!!!!!!!!

My recommendation is this. FIND the steering column connector. Get familiar with RIGHT where it is. LEARN how to wiggle it back and forth and disconnect it QUICKLY. Once you have that mastered, the next time it starts acting crazy, get under there and unplug that connector fast. This will tell...

64 Barracuda factory steel wheel paint colors

The caps were stacked inside the car when I bought it and after holding one up to the rim, I was surprised to see that there is virtually no lip of the rim visible at all around the edge of the cover, so the paint color on the rim is really moot from a styling perspective. Should have check that...

Sounds good Frank , the only reason I use heat is to cauterize the hole so it does not fray.

How would you rebuild this 318?

Is the oil pressure good? Check with a gauge if You don't have one already. If it's a piston/pin it goes knocka-knocka & is a sharper/brighter sound, rods usually sound duller/heavier with a deep knock-knock. If that's Your ride in the avatar, I'd find & fix the knock, & get back to cruisin'...

First the horn started blowing on its own, Then the starter cranks when you push the clutch in! wtf help!!!!!!!!

FWIW my horn staying on turned out to be melted wires at the bulkhead connector inside the car. The battery feed wire runs next to the horn wire and the battery feed wire started to melt and fused to it keeping the horn on. My fusible link went soon after and the problem was created at the ammeter.

    Tires make a HUGE difference!

So I put a pair of 275/60 15 M/T E.T. Street R’s on 10” rims. Formerly had 275/60 15 Cooper Cobra’s on 8” rims. Went out and did a couple of 1/8th mile pulls. Absolutely 0 spinning, with no burnout! Picked up .31 seconds from my previous best. Check out the Dragy. Can’t wait for my first...

Big block 67 Fastback Barracuda Not Mine

I remember this car being for sale a few years ago and questions being asked about all of the obvious deviations of the car. The one reply that I recall was that they liked the '68 marker lights so they were installed. May not be the same owner now putting it up for sale.
