Not hardly. Drilling a 1/8" hole in the thermostat has been around for years.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

You know you're old when you put up party lights but can't stay up late enough to see them, but you can sure as hell wake up before sunrise and see them lol! Good Morning All!

See above post. I never said anything about .0004" out being too much. His video is deceptive.

That "clown" is me... And his entire video is a misconstruing of what was said. Massively misleading.

Anyone done Under Dash A/C ?

I’m attempting to do the same. Do you have a picture of where the AC hoses were routed? I’m keeping my factory heater intact as well so the current heater box is still under the dash. I bought a bulkhead fitting but want to make sure I install it in a good place.

[FOR SALE] 7 1/4 REAR END DRUM TO DRUM

I've sold 7.25s to the lawn tractor guys for two decades. They generally don't want brakes and such, so those could potentially sell here and ship easily. In fact, one guy asked me if I cared if he brought a handheld bandsaw and just sawed axles, tubes, and all midway between the spring and the...

Custom signs for people's porches and such. Think house number, last name, etc. Or various other short sayings or names, such as "Relax Central" or "The Man Cave". .. These could be either painted letters, burned in letters, etc, and the background could be either stained or painted. Sky's the...

Identifying my Current 15 Inch Wheels - and thoughts about wheel replacements

I don’t have Torq Thrust wheels, I just thought they look good. I have staggered steelies, 14 front 15 rear with Plymouth poverty caps, and a set of ARE VN501 Magnum 500 style rims waiting to go on

    18" Subaru WRX Wheels?

The Enkei RPF1’s are very light. When I first installed them I weighed them vs the 15x7” Mopar police wheels I had been running with 225/60/15’s. Despite running 275/35/18’s on 18x9’s that combo was over 4 lbs lighter than the cop wheels with 225’s, and the 295/35/18’s on 18x10” RPF1’s were...

    408 ignition curver advice

You have a high rpm intake & wondering where the low end went? Use an RPM intake. 9.5 CR is not helping either. You need a HEAP more initial timing, 30* plus.

    408 ignition curver advice

Nice ride!. The cam is not the problem since my buddy has a 246/250 on a 108 ls flat tappet cam, ported victor, 10.1 compression in a 408 and it doesn't suffer from lack of low end in a heavy short bed dodge. His engine made 500hp/500tq and he has 4.56s with 30" tires, I think the 3.91s would be...

You could just hook the VA up to manifold vacuum to pull in that extra timing if you don't want to add it in with more initial.

Builders: Square engine, Over Square, or Under Square for you?

Looking through old magazines....SS & DI Dec 79. Article on long & short rods. Apparently at that time there was a junior fuel Chevy class. Ran fastest with a 1.9 r/s ratio, but et'd best with a 1.75 ratio. Junior fuellers were limited to 310 ci & had NO transmissions. With a 1.9 ratio, they...

    18" Subaru WRX Wheels?

I was pretty sure 72blu had some of them wheels on his car. They look nice for sure. And the main benefit I hear is the weight is much lighter than most aftermarket wheels. My bullet mustang 17s are heavy. Not a fan but theyll do for now Buying second hand can save a bunch if you know whatll...

Identifying my Current 15 Inch Wheels - and thoughts about wheel replacements

Hey Topless, What are the specs on your Torque Thrusts? Backspacing??? Offset??? I did a lot of research on the web, reading, and measuring yesterday. I sat down and drew several pictures to illustrate what I have and what I want. By my calculations, because of the springs n the inside only...
