Went to a car show today.

There were a couple of things I really didn’t like about this car show. One, was that even though we all paid the same entry fee we got put in an entirely different parking lot. That’s why you don’t see very many people or cars where we were. Then on top of that for the first time ever they were...

    No idea.

Used up over half of my bad words.

I like dogs as well, as long as they don’t intrude on others uninvited. And I was only able to click agree once unfortunately. I also get the “support animal” thing, but if you need to take your dog into the grocery store for “support” then you should just stay home and order delivery. One day...

Went to a car show today.

I think we found Barbie’s Barracuda. We had a row of Mopars.

I don’t speak spanish and I’ll leave it at that.

Used up over half of my bad words.

So the other day I mentioned being bored, so I decided to go to the local Pick a Part just to see if there was anything interesting. When I pulled into the parking lot some guys big *** dog ran over and jumped up on my drivers door and stuck his head in my window. I friggin lost it. Not the end...

    Where to go next?

Man I did so much riding on that beach and in the dunes. I did the last half of my senior year of high school in Arroyo Grande, but lived in Shell Beach because my Dad got transferred from Susanville CA. to the Mens Colony in SLO. We lived about 80 miles north of Tahoe in the mountains up till...

    Where to go next?

Thanks for the encouragement. My Brother and an extended family member are going on a five day ride up north on their bikes. The Wife suggested I follow along in my car. Nah, that’s ok.

    Where to go next?

Used to live in that area, but the Dart has never been there.

    Where to go next?

I have been getting in the habit of driving the Dart to a different destination each weekend. One day (doesn’t matter which) and take off for the day. Possible destinations are getting shorter these days since I have been to most of them within 200 miles. Kind of thinking ghost towns as...

    I’m freekin bored.

Unfortunately I can’t stand golf. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good suggestion though.

    I’m freekin bored.

I have been considering this. One thing that puts a kink in those kinds of thoughts is remembering what A holes some people can be. You know, the ones that blame you for everything from then on. Just did 25 years of owning a computer service company, and they were even worse about that kind of...

When is a new car "yours"?

For me it takes time. When I first got my Dart I would swear it was testing me. All kinds of little things, like it quit driving down the street for no apparent reason. Then I would find some stupid little thing and fix it. Then something else, and this went on for a couple of weeks. Finally one...

Only about a year or so actually. I know, too long.

    I’m freekin bored.

Actually, there is a road trip I want to do. I want to drive over to Stockton, pick up my brother in law and hit all the beaches from Santa Cruse to LA. Can’t afford it just yet, but it’s coming.

    I’m freekin bored.

That would be tempting. One of the guys I used to ride with broke both wrists on a night ride I passed on. Hit a ditch he didn’t see till the last second.

Not a cry for help. Just a statement of fact.

    I’m freekin bored.

See, that’s the thing. I would rather be alone actually. Thanks for the thought tho.

    I’m freekin bored.

Nothing but bars around here, and I don’t drink or even enjoy being around drunk people. There are a few night time car get togethers in Phoenix, but that is an hour and a half drive one way. I like driving at night on lit multi lane freeways with the windows down, but nothing like that around...

Music is a pretty big deal.

Yep, I also like the lighting choices. It was also pretty cool that the new unit has all the exact same connections. Just slide the old one out and the new one in. No redoing any wiring.

Music is a pretty big deal.

Ah, so you have most of the same complaints I have with folders, libraries and volumes. I wish there was a separate volume control for turn by turn vs music playback. Turn by turn is always too quiet, or I have to have the music too loud, so I can hear what it says. Curious to see how the new...

Music is a pretty big deal.

My current head unit is playing not so funny games. One day I noticed a battery drain over the course of 2-3 days and found that the memory function of the unit was causing it. The memory wire of the unit is supposed to be connected to full time 12v, but it was bleeding power over to the head...

    Are you a narcissist?

When in an argument or “discussion” and the other person is clearly wrong, and won’t listen to proof or facts you might as well just shut it down. Well, unless a person just likes to argue. I don’t, and let people keep their opinions if they choose to ignore facts. All too common these days.

    Are you a narcissist?

Or to use for ones personal information to be used as an aid to win that argument by making them give up. I don’t generally label people, but I do recognize personality traits pretty quickly.
