The man wants MORE caster. How about this idea?

So I ran my Duster for awhile with +8° caster, -1° camber and that was with 16:1 manual steering. So, with power steering I don’t think the car would be difficult to steer, I managed it with fast ratio manual. That said, the amount of body lift you get by turning the wheels is pretty...

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

Ant, Did you bother to watch the video of post #298??? You will learn a lot. I keep mentioning D. Vizard. He was contracted by Crane cams to do cam testing, which is where the 128 condensed rule originated from his cam program. At Crane, he tested over 19,000 cam combinations! When I meet...

The man wants MORE caster. How about this idea?

This car is not a commuter, it is just a toy. I put spacers in the right side like these: The reason? I couldn't get the camber to where I wanted with the caster that I could get. I'm being reminded of how inter-related that caster and camber can be. In short, I started down the road of...

400 into 73 v8 duster using stock mounts

The Driver's side frame spool mounting ears need cut & moved back ~1.13". The Passenger side can fit if You flip the spool bushing around in the eng. bracket, but the oval holes are larger on the flange end vs the straight end, so You'll need to carbide burr the oval 'til the larger press fit...

The small outer circumference weights are normally there to neutral balance the converter. External balance are then added for particular engine balance.

400 into 73 v8 duster using stock mounts

Yeah, the early C body driver's mount can be made to work on the '67-'72 K frames, but not aware of anything for the '73 and up cars that doesn't involve slicing and dicing.

Am I crazy or is this project Duster way overpriced?

When does rust not equal rust??? He has a closeup of the tail panel that clearly has rust on it, yet he says it has no rust but only a little surface rust?? Original paint? Since when was the roof rail gutter trim painted body colour? Weren’t they all chrome? Yet the posting says original...

    Universal fuel pump regulator

The Vacuum / Boost reference port is provided for fuel pressure compensation at a 1:1 rate, this is primarily used in blow-thru centrifugal supercharged applications. In most cases this port is left open to reference atmospheric pressure

400 into 73 v8 duster using stock mounts

@Jim Lusk may can help, but really you have the car the engine and mounts. You can probably tell quicker than anybody here. Seems like I have read before there is a certain combination of stock mounte that work, but I cannot be sure. Jim will know.

400 into 73 v8 duster using stock mounts

Nope. Even the Schumacher swap mounts require some cutting and reworking of the K member mounts in order to work. If that's too expensive for you, wait until you get a load of what you'll need to pay for headers... and oil pan... etc. If you insist on making your own mounts, bolt it all...

Will the 1 7/8" and 2" TTI headers fit eagle 5.7 heads?

I'm swapping a eagle 5.7 into my 70' Duster and I see that the larger tube TTI's have a round over sized port. I am new to Gen 3 Hemi's but I believe the 6.4 and the eagle 5.7 have the same exhaust port shape. They don't list the 5.7 as fitting there larger tube headers. Has anyone used the...
