On my '69 gas pedal bolts to firewall and I cut carpet to go under the gas pedal bracket. But carpet is under the gas pedal lever. Not sure what is factory correct etc just needed to get carpet to fit.

I have seen threads on this forum with this discussed before and I believe the EQ heads have extra casting material around the ports to allow 340 manifolds to seal. The magnum heads from Hughs may also have the extra material.

Looks like hinge for the door between trunk and rear interior. The folding rear seat hinges don't look anything like that.
