    Looking for help, again.

I like to put all that stuff on like JYH did but install the engine on the K including headers and then slider her in using the engine hoist in front after blocking the rear tires up….if you do not have lift. Take your time. Don’t tighten up until weight off car is on it all. No point in...

Butters "Winter Upgrades". . Starting a Little Early

I recently had a similar experience with Brewers over the phone as i deal with some of my clutch problems. Sorry off topic, but another vendor not selling me stuff i don’t need immediately. Now back to your regular scheduled programming. Cool build.

    What’s it worth?

As long as its a 47 ford COE……and 27K. Not this nice of course

    What’s it worth?

Another route is trade plus cash. Have your cash price (32K) and stick to it. But have a couple rides in mind and you might get a nice rust free body with a stack to build another rod. The trade has to be something you got a hard in for, otherwise you are in the same position. Guns, backhoe...

Does This Debunk the "Coolant Can Flow Through the Radiator Too Fast" Idea???

...i am currently using a 1” smaller WP pulley on a flowkooler, 2 core (1” tubes) 24.5” wide aluminum rad with 3400 cfm worth of air. (13 lb cap). 187* all day. Might see a spike to 192* under certain conditions. 383 with a cam (250/250@50) 4 speed AC not hooked up yet. (Big azz condenser is...

Does This Debunk the "Coolant Can Flow Through the Radiator Too Fast" Idea???

Dunno about this one. The point made earlier about pressure being created by heat in the engine by heating the coolant made sense (to me). If there was no flow (let’s just say no pump inline) pressure would still be created by the heating of the liquid, kind of like a steam engine? No?

Give your pickle fork a rest

Many of you already are aware of how the pickle fork can destroy your dust boot covers and are already aware of this particular tool used to split ball joints BUT……for those that are not….. this tool is for you. The pickle fork has its place mind you, but you find that it will reside further...

Sad news from Rapchak the man helping me on the Demon.

I get people using navigation. Is there a future with all this tech that a phone wouldn't work if it is below the dash line of the vehicle and not on navigation. Or if the phone is being touched, the vehicle won't move......or SOMETHING to prevent distraction of the driver. This may not be how...

4 Headlights or 2 Headlights; opinions needed.

    2. It does have a monaro vibe, but id stick with two. Takes up too much real estate Unless….. pipe in cool air to carb!

    Too Hot

Even though we are focused on “why the change” ….. the OP has no pictures of his setup and no confirmation of shroud. I’m out.
  24. clementine

    Too Hot

The change is concerning. Do you use a shroud? I would drain rad and flush block Sediment, timing, air flow and use 13lb cap. Then i would call rad company if no change. If then not satisfied, id look at a higher flow water pump. $0.02. Pictures are always good.

Thinking about turbo on my/6 again...

Have we explored the cost of fabrication of fuel rail/injector/crank spark? It seems a bit more reliable once sorted. But i only speak from what ive read vs what ive done. And again, having the feedback loop from an O2 sensor so your burn is better (supposedly) than a carb. What about...

Looking for recommendations for Cuba Resort

I went to Cuba right when Castro got sick. I went to see the architecture and a place that time had not touched for (50?) years. A look into a system that in my opinion doesn’t work but a veiw of a people that are as tough as nails. I saw the remaining members of Buena Vista Social Club. I...
