No. These push in from the outside, then the emblem gets pushed into them. I've always called them barrel nuts. Mine are 1/8 x 0.5". refer to this older post: Swinger Emblem Fasteners ?

At a car show in Pacific, Mo. It had the 440 callouts on the quarters.

Does the bolt turn within the bushing? If so, I would put an air ratchet on the bolt and simultaneously take your 2lb sledge and bang away. If you need a second person, I'm in the area.

Bench Testing

Just put "brown letters" in the FABO search box. You'll have so many hits! I've had so many BFGs with the letters turning brown, I'm afraid to take the blue off of these 2 year old ones. Yet the older ones on my 70 Dart are just fine, but too old to safely drive on. 65 Dart fronts, 2 years old...

The small ugly one is a '65 Dart, The larger clean one is a'70 Dart.
