I have the same problem on my cars. But I have 170 engines (mostly) which are shorter, and manual steering. To make them fit with a 170 and power steering needs a bigger modification

Not that I am aware of. When Jack Clifford had the company, he had about 6 or 7 different headers for the slant, depending on the body style. Aussie speed has some headers available, but I don't know how they fit on the 225 in a "early" "A" body. I know on a 170 they hang very low.

If you separate the drum and hub, make sure to cut the swedge on the studs. If you don't you will ruin the holes in the hub.

9 or 10 inch brakes? I think the hub is different. I know the bearings are different.

What year is the damper? There are different timing covers that get matched to the damper for the correct timing marks. There is one cover that has the timing tab mounted to the lower cover bolt on the driver side. If you remove that bolt the tab will come off. If that is for your 1963 dodge it...

If you are going to run in "stock eliminator" you are much better off getting a new converter built for your combo. That said, what style converter are you looking for? Small crank pilot or large, small spline or large?

If you don't need exact for a "restoration" any good AC shop should be able to make the hose, if you have the old metal ends. Possibly even if you don't have the ends.

That valve body is NOT for a 64-65 cable shifted trans.

I'll check on Monday (to see if I have a 1965 V-8 904) it would be a "core" trans, and require rebuilding, if I have one.

They don't grow on trees. The 1965 V-8 904 is not a push button trans. It is cable shifted but has a different valve body (some other differences that don't matter) than the 64 down trans. The 65 is a one year only trans. I might have a 65 V-8 904 core trans on hand, but I am in Florida.

Depending on what you desire for an end result. You could use any 63-66 steering column, and a floor shifter. 63-64 column would not have a shifter mechanism. 65 would have a shifter mechanism (unless floor shift equipped), but the shifter could be removed. Not many of these cars were PS equipped.

64 Valiant has the round lever under the front lip of the hood. 64 and 65 Barracuda have a paddle type lever that goes through a hole in the front edge of the hood, as does the 65 Valiant.

I'm pretty sure I have a set of those. Do not have the bar. Pretty sure that is for the AC compressor brace to the mount.
