    What's this hose for?

??? You mentioned engine bay and I clearly see a black motor of some sort? Fan motor=blower motor

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

if the velocity is too fast, it needs to be slowed down. If it's too slow the fuel will drop out. kind of a catch 22. lol

    What's this hose for?

There is no fan motor. It's the outside passengers side mirror.

Got a pic of me not too different from those pictures. My cousin up in Canada had one. Great fun for children. You are an awesome dad and grandpa Frodee.

1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

I think we can stop guessing now. I'll say this alright. You can definitely tell she needed headers badly. It sounds a lot better. Like it's running "easier" somehow if that makes sense. Video coming shortly.

    What's this hole for?

Ok. I don't have remote control and don't plan on putting it in. I guess I don't need to drill the large hole on the passengers side?

    What's this hose for?

I have a 73 Dart Sport with a 225 slant 6 I noticed this hose in the engine bay not going anywhere. Does anyone know where it goes?

EXACTLY. A velocity MANAGER. That's what Morgan is.

    Finicky Fuel Gauge

These things can be finicky. I still have intermittent problems that decide to show up every couple of months and then go away on their own right when I get around to investigating.

    What's this hole for?

Three cables for a remote drivers side mirror... The mirror you have is the "base" model mirror without remote control, it doesn't use the hole but the gasket is used across all mirror designs

318 bogging at high rpm, but only in first gear?

So I finally got out to the garage again, and installed the carb rebuild kit. The pictures are from the “before”. Lots of debris and varnish, but it cleaned up nicely. Couldn’t read the jet sizes, and the secondaries were stuck in place, so I left them, but the rods were a weird size. Either...

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

If you go by these formulas for a second (say there in the ballpark) and calculate what's too big for a 318 to make peak power at 5,000 rpms the trick flows come out to be slightly lower than the lowest acceptable velocity. But if you put a set of trick flow on a 318 even with an rv cam it's...

    What's this hole for?

That gasket looks similar to the one used on my mirror with remote control. the hole is for the control cables to pass through

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

The trick is to keep the column of air and fuel intact, you don't want it to split in the turn

    Loosing fuel pressure

I had this same problem with my 360 in my 72 duster and with today’s fuel with higher ethanol content the fuel was vaporizing. I installed a bypass regulator and never had the problem again. To return the fuel to the factory tank I welded a bung in the filler neck and the unused fuel dumps right...

Blank canvas, steel sided 40x60 pole barn. Thoughts on insulating, electrical, heating???

I was just being funny, hope you didn't take offense. I agree with you fully. My 2 post was one of my first investments when we built this house. I agree, I fell in love instantly. The first brake job I did on my lift was a 15 year old jeep. Did all 4 pads/rotors in 45 mins!!! I remember...

    What's this hole for?

I'm restoring a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport and I found an OEM mirror for the passengers side door. There's a large hole in the gasket for the mirror and the drivers side door has the same hole in its gasket and the door where the mirror mounts. Anyone know why the hole is in the door and why it's...
