I loved American Flyer S gauge trains !!!! They were so much more realistic than the more popular Lionel O gauge. I had one where you could put 3 n 1 oil in and it would blow smoke out of the stack.

They are 160 feet up !

The train is the "New City of San Francisco" streamliner. It was in service from June 14 1936 to May 1 1971. The car is a 1936 Willys 77 sedan. It cost $500.00 new !

The trans will not work if from a slant 6. V8 trans is different.

Another thing to consider is 67 904 input shaft and TC are a one (1) year only size. I found that out the hard way. A TC I bought for what I thought was the right one, would not work. (not Fit). I had to buy a later year 904 !
