    Fuel Gauge Issue

I'm going to look into the Meter Match. Looks like it's made by Tanks Inc, maybe others, which is funny because my next move was a new tank, sender, and pump from Tanks Inc using one of their reed switch senders. Who knows, maybe I'd still need the meter match. Thanks for that tip @Dana67Dart...

    Fuel Gauge Issue

I didn’t have a strap on the original but did have a copper wire going from the fuel line on the sender to an exhaust bracket. I have added another copper line from the same spot on the new pump/sender to another grounding location and no change. Tested the ground by grounding the signal wire to...

    Fuel Gauge Issue

That’s interesting, thanks fo sharing that @Dana67Dart . I’m going to pull the sender and check the resistance throughout the arms movement. Since it’s an electric pump I can pump out what’s in it and compare that as well to what the gauge should read when I put it back in. I pretty sure I still...

    Fuel Gauge Issue

I checked the original Holley sender and it wasn’t perfectly 10-73 but it was close to it. I figure at 39 ohms I should have slightly more than 1/2 tank. I’ve played with grounds but haven’t run a ground direct to the battery. Instructions don’t call for it but I might as well test it. I...

    Fuel Gauge Issue

I need some help with my fuel gauge and I'm hoping someone here can point to something I've overlooked. !976 Dart that didn't have a functioning fuel gauge when I bought it. Had zero resistance, pulled the sender and the float wasn't floating. Installed new sender, still nothing so replaced the...

    Is anyone rich here?

I'm a CFP and do financial and tax planning. Lifestyle is going to drive your ability to retire with that savings rate: debt paid off, lifestyle expenses, idea/vision for retirement, car parts/project. A number of factors to consider and without knowing your specific situation most are guessing...

    18" Wheel help

That's certainly an option, I'm working with what I got. Someday I may move the springs in board and widen the wheels which makes rotation a moot point. But, you are correct.

    18" Wheel help

These were not taken from a great angle but you kind of get the idea. Vision 143, 18x8.5, +32 front, -6 rear.

    18" Wheel help

I'll get some pics tomorrow after I pick it up. I really wanted a square set since I'll be daily driving the '76 but I didn't want a +32 on the back. I went -6 because I thought some extra dish would look good, and I knew I wouldn't need a spacer to pull it off, and I really like the look.

    18" Wheel help

I went with the Vision 143 wheels, 18x8.5 all around, +32 up front, -6 in back. Fronts and rears fit great, might have to roll the rear a touch with 1/4"-3/8" clearance to the fender lip and a '76 Dart sedan. I'm picking it up from alignment tomorrow and I'll know better if I have any issues. I...

@mbaird Can you get us some pictures of how and where the retractors are mounted? I’m working on this now with Steve at SeatBeltPlanet but would love to see a factory setup. Thanks!

Homemade chin spoiler looking for some feed back please.

I wonder if that could be made to fit a 76. Anyone know how different the 73-74 bumper is from the 75-76?

Definitely still have the project and slowly making headway. It's not in a great location for me to spend a lot of time on it but working to move it to my home shop where I'll be able to get more time on it. as it sits, I just need to do a lot of welding and start in on the tin work. I have...

Thanks for checking in and for the kind words Mike. Unfortunately I haven't done much in a while, nor been on the forum, because I've been very busy with work. I've been travelling a while and plan to get back on the car mid-end July when I return. I am more or less done with major fab work...

What setup are you rocking John? I'm already consider a set of Tilton pedals as a solution, but I like the idea of the power booster rather than manual brakes. I'd have to find a way to mount my Viper pedal pads but that's no big deal... Then I'd probably hang one of these on the firewall...
