    46re rebuild kit

I'd get parts from Chris Andrews. He's a member of this site and will steer you in the right direction.

Looks good. I'm curious how you're going to mount them to the frame rail. Nice work!

    VIN Rivets

Mine were shiny, so I'm assuming they were plated. Or maybe stainless?

Is there a way to modify a stock valve body for LBA?

    VIN Rivets

Do you know if those are the same size as the ones I took off my '66? I'd imagine they're all the same, but who knows?

    VIN Rivets

I appreciate the heads up, but if a cop ever looked over my car, the non-stock VIN rivets won't be what stands out to them.

    VIN Rivets

The ones on mine were shiny since it was on the jam (like post #7). Don't think I'll get that cute with it. It's probably not worth $35 to me. A couple off the shelf will do the job. I didn't realize '67's had the VIN plates in the jams too. Good to know!

    VIN Rivets

Yes, my '66 had rivets. I drilled them out in order to paint the jam. Now it's just a matter of replacing them. It's just a hotrod, so I'll likely just use regular hardware store pop rivets, but I was wondering if the rosette rivets used on my '66 were the same as what are used on the '67+ cars...

    VIN Rivets

Do you any of you guys have a source for the rosette rivets for the a '66 Dart? Obviously, these are attached in the door jams, so I'm unsure if they are the same rivets as the later model A-bodies that seem to be the rivets that the resto shops like ECS carry.

    Mopowers' 66 Dart Build

Boy, you got that right! This time of year absolutely sucks ***. I have a mental countdown until the Winter Solstice so the days can start getting a tad longer, which means in TWO MONTHS, the days will be about as short as they are today. DAMMIT!! And screw the Brits. Talk about a gay *** accent.

    Mopowers' 66 Dart Build

Thanks! But if you saw this mess up close, you'd tell me to stay away. haha For instance, there are a couple sweat drops in the trunk that got painted over one the second coat that I'll have to sand down and touch up once the paint hardens up. Doesn't yours already have paint on it??

Sad times indeed.....another drag strip closes, this time.....Sacramento CA.

Sad for sure. My buddies and I went out there a couple times a month our senior in high school (1999-2000) for the street legal drags on Weds. We had a lot of good times at that track. I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually.

    Mopowers' 66 Dart Build

The breeze finally died down enough to shoot some WW1. It's far from perfect, but it's shiny and it'll be fine for this hotrod. It'll be fun putting it back together.

Black Friday sales. Who’s buying what.

When I talked to Mike at B3 a while back, he mentioned that the PRW stainless rockers have a nicer roller axle than the SM stainless rockers. They may be made in the same factory, but according to him, there is a difference in axles. He also recommended soaking them in oil prior to installation...
