My junker.

I butchered my Hooker fenderwells so that I can turn the wheels. Now, it only has a slight rub at full lock on both sides. I repositioned 6 of the 8 tubes. When I bought the car, I couldn't even pull it into my driveway without severe contact. Lotta work but worth it. George

That car is really cool. Too far away from a street car for me to bring it back, but if you want a drag only car, this is an excellant opportunity.....complete with racing history and pictures/testimony from the builder. All for $1700. Can't beat that with a stick. George

Probably the last update to this thread as the car is basically finished except for a few minor nickle & dime items. I still need to "possibly" reposition the driver's side soft top at the C pillar because of the wrincles. If the summer sun doesn't do it's magic, I'll reposition it. I installed...

3/8-16, grade 5, about 1-1/4" long, and factory bolts had an integral lock washer. Grade 5 really isn't necessary, but thats what I'd use. Geo
