    What's new in engine stands?

I bought this one off of Craigslist for $100 and cleaned it up a bit. My great-grandchildren will still be using it!

    Cordless impact driver recommendation?

I bought an 18v Dewalt because I already had the batteries and charger from my company issued drill/driver. I don't know that I would recommend it for a commercial account, but it sure beats taking lug nuts off with a rachet or four way. Cost me less than a hundy.

    Oil stain

I always use oil dry (kitty litter). I just grind it into the stain with a twisting motion of my foot and let it sit for a couple of days and then sweep it away. I don't like stains in my driveway either.

Craigs List can be a good thing!

I had to tell someone this story and didn't want to start a new thread. I saw a correct 71 340 air cleaner on CL yesterday morning as part of a pile of Challenger parts that a guy was selling. I messaged him and asked if he would mind selling the air cleaner separate. He messaged back yes, he...

    Fuel Line Tips n Tools

I can't add much to the tools as the one's mentioned above seem top notch. One tip I used on bending my fuel line on the car was to mock up the pieces using mechanic's wire to the shape that I needed and then bend the fuel line on the bench to match it. It saved me a lot of time leaning over...

Insulation done! Shop heater questions. Electrical gurus.

Thank you both for explaining that. I was worried because he keeps several cars in this garage (mine included sometimes). Since it is vented, I will quit worrying.

Insulation done! Shop heater questions. Electrical gurus.

I'm not sure what size it is but my buddy just had this LP furnace installed on Monday. He is going to insulate the garage this weekend. I'm curious about the comment concerning the moisture that burning LP produces? Can anyone enlighten me on that?!?

Opinons on adjustable threaded engine leveler needed

We used a HF leveler last weekend to pull my 340. It performed exactly as you would want it to. The handle did come loose and had to be tightened, but that was the only problem we had with it. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a professional or someone who used it a couple times a year...

Craigs List can be a good thing!

Sold the old 340 out of my Dart today on CL for $850. Local guy was glad to have it and I was glad to have it gone!!

Need solvent, blast media & pressure regulator

Let me reiterate, this is not a commercial business and any solvents used will probably evaporate into the atmosphere before we every get them dirty enough to dispose of. We have no intentions of polluting the water table.

Need solvent, blast media & pressure regulator

Yeah, not looking for any water based cleaners. I've read a lot of people using odorless mineral spirits in theirs. Disposal won't be a problem, we'll just pour it on the burn pile. I think I'm gonna need at least 10 gallons.

Need solvent, blast media & pressure regulator

Hey everybody!! Last night we spent a hour putting the HF blast cabinet together. We also have an old Clarke solvent tank, that we picked up on the cheap(haven't tested the pump yet). I am looking for recommendations on what solvent to put in the parts washer and what kind of blast media...

A couple of years ago, I got tired of looking for my wrenches and sockets that my son had borrowed. So, he bought me a very similar Craftsman set for Christmas!! I can put it in my trunk and take it wherever I need it. Nice little set.

    Blast Cabinet Visibility

All good tips!! I'll be following this thread. We just bought this Harbor Freight cabinet last weekend. It was on sale for $219 and we used a 20% off coupon on top of that. I know it's not commercial grade and I'm normally not a big HF guy, but we won't use it but a couple times a year...
