Finally finished up the interior Sunday with the install of the b&m hammer shifter and 5" tach. This winter I plan to pull the column and smooth it out like I did on the 67 valiant column I gave to Justin. I think I'll also do the ER16 bearing upgrade like I did on Joe 71 duster column.

It's funny how our builds look a lot a like.

I like PB blaster on o2 sensors but for rust i prefer CLP found at Walmart in the gun cleaning isle. I've used it many times on stubborn bearings at work and it really soaks into the rust.

I also have been thinking about adding a turbo to my slant six. Swapping out the Holley 1945 to the Holley 350 made the slant six feel like a whole different motor.

Im running an adapter and an aluminum body 5th ave master cylinder. Glad I upgraded to disc brakes since some lady pulled out in front of me without looking in a mini van today while I was cruising at 45 mph. First time since the cars been redone that I've locked them up.

It is illegal in Washington state on some years of vehicles from what the state patrol told us. Somewhere in the 50s was the cutoff if I remember correctly.

I've repaired a broken one once by grinding cutting and grinding then welded in a 5/8" allen headed shoulder bolt at work. Not too bad if you have the tools.

I have an extra set of arms with new bushings and good ball joints. Cleaned, painted and ready to go. Bought them to do the same swap but came across a full disc brake setup.

While I had mine out and apart I did the 1/8 npt drain plug install like they did in one of the magazines.

I have both front and rear AMD bumpers on my valiant and both look great for a lot cheaper than having the originals rechromed.

Our two local glass co wanted $800+ said they would have to get it from a restoration specialist... I got a new one off ebay. Windshield, seal, and install came to less than $500. The glass has one line of distortion but not too bad for the price.

That's funny. Our cars started out the same color and will end close to the same color. I wish mine was as dark as when we shot it. I really like the 2015 dodge pdm mineral grey metallic. I also didn't remove my back window.

I think I got my "top cat" cat whisker seals from Dantes mopars.

I have 1 or 2 of the same style some where.

I like the fact you don't need a gasket but they say you might need to modify the steering.
