I really haven’t spent a lot of time in them, so far no complaints. I usually drive about 50 miles haven’t spent more than an hour in them at any given time.
I appreciate the offer but that’s a little more crusty than I’d like. It would probably be easy enough just to weld a patch in now that I’m thinking of it.
He can probably get you idea to print I’m sure. I cut up an old dash and sent him the cluster and dash to ensure a perfect fit. Here’s what I sent over for him to get it done.
Thanks JDMopar I’m far from having it figured out, but I have a plan in mind that “should” work. I currently have one of the last Gerst suspension setups. I planned on cutting off the k frame mounts on it to be able to have approximately 9” to place the new mounts wherever they seem to work...
Thank you! Contact Tyler @ Reversion Raceworks. [email protected] he was great to work with, I’m sure he kept all the data and would be able to print one and ship it out. This was designed for the 6.86 pro dash.
The best advise I can give you is if possible, put your eyes on it before you buy it. This was bought from a guy in I think Tennessee but a guy in Michigan sent it. There was some miscommunication and took about 5 months to get but I finally got it. I probably would have been ok just sticking it...
There’s area between the inner wheelhouse and the frame rail that gets cut out and gives you more room for a larger tire. It requires moving the leaf spring locations and shortening the rear axle. But you can fit a good size tire, currently running a 295-50-15.
Ran it like this for probably 8 years before doing a mini tub. I think it rubbed a little with passengers in the back. But that was pretty rare to have people in back so it wasn’t really a concern. I vote do a mini tub and don’t look back!
Sound German sells a kit that controls the transmission. Since it’s completely electronic, to feel comfortable and not 100% reliant on the electronics to do their job I decided to swap the rear brakes from a budget jegs disc brake kit (without a parking brake) to a Wilwood kit with a parking...
I plan on using the Holley Terminator Max X wiring and management system and to make things easier I’m going to go with a Holley 6.68 Digital Pro Dash. I didn’t want to alter the dash frame to use the Holley so I had an idea to have someone to design and 3D print an original looking bezel that...
Ok, after hurting another couple pistons and some sleepless nights of contemplation the turbo 408 is gone! It was a hard decision to give up on the turbo’d small block but I have decided that even when it was together and running (it was fun!) it wasn’t the vision I had for the car. So I decided...
I’ve got two more pairs of custom hood hinges, I designed these and had them made up. Easy to get rid of the torsion rods and clean up your engine bay with hydraulic struts. Only 2 pairs left , $125 plus $20 to ship them. Pm me if your interested.
Ok and so that’s what I was looking at, that second door from the right blocks off the front or rear of the heater core based on the position of the door. Not sure that actually does anything? Thinking of just removing that door and running the most outward rt door cause it would block off heat...
Hey all, after years of not having a heater I have put together a replacement heater assembly. My question is why do I have 4 different doors on this heater box but only 3 cables to hook up from my controls? The heater box was put together from parts out of a 64 & 65 valiant or barracuda going...
Sheeeit I found one half in Minnesota and the other in St. Louis. Lol. But I’d be interested in a good fresh air box for the drivers side and a heater motor?
Looks awesome! What are you using for a transmission? Did you have to trim the shock towers at all? Can’t tell, are you using an offset master cylinder adapter? Do you have to pull the master cylinder to remove the coil/valve cover?
