how come you were running it as a single point distributor?

thats not good; that means the cylinder walls were never coated with engine oil like they would have with oil pressure; as well the crank has been sitting in the same spot for over 20 years

thats a half assed way to run the wires through the tank, better to get a 4 wire male female connector thats gas proof and drill a hold in the sending unit; much more professional and won't leak

yes but is your flywheel for the A-833 4 speed or something newer? also if its for A-833 4 speed can it trigger the stock crank sensor thats why custom flywheels have been meationed. the magnum 5 speed flywheel doesn't fit the 4 speed transmission

don't know where your buying them but I have seen them much cheaper then that; buy them off ebay.ca its the canadian version my local performance place can get them new for about $190 and its 20 minutes from my house headers for a D-150 are cheap; I know I have a 1979 D-150 with 360

most people are likely wanting a way around the factory crank sensor is that they have a really good working LA engine and don't want to swap it out for a magnum or they have a numbers matching car and want to keep the engine that in it

a TBI pump will not feed a MPFI system, although there rated at 40 PSI a MPFI pump is rated at 70 PSI and should have a rail pressure of 45-55

getting rid of the TBI wiring is easy, and if your game for selling your TBI stuff I will even give you a little something for the computer and throttle body as well as some of the computer plug-ins you can then use that money towards the magnum wiring harness that 393foureyedfox sells
