    Voltage Regulator Bypass

You guys are correct. I did this to my '67 Belvedere using a parts-store alternator for a 1991 Toyota 4Runner 4-cylinder (they have a v-belt pulley). I even spliced the factory wiring into a Toyota repair connector very much like the following: ALTERNATOR REPAIR PLUG HARNESS 3 WIRE PIN...

    Q: Short output shaft 727 w/a Gear Vendors into a '67-up A-Body?

Just wanted to thank the members above for their valuable commentary--and the info! I do, however, hope there is that one person who has used the 8" tailhousing 727 with their GV swap & is willing to fill us in as well. Really appreciate how the collective experience comes together here...

Front end rebuild parts Interchangable ?

dazed Don't expect to use the Pitman Arm from anything 1967-up. You are working with the early-A platform, of which the 1963-1966 cars have parts in common--and use a different drag link than '67-up. The part number (MOOG K7074) states application for a '67 Dart, and other A bodies up to...

    Q: Short output shaft 727 w/a Gear Vendors into a '67-up A-Body?

This is their 8" tailhousing kit: Now, I'm just hoping there is someone out there who can say they have installed this setup into a '67-up A body! If it fits better than the long version, I may be all over this. The Gear Vendors Tech I emailed earlier got back to me in hours & stated that...

    Q: Short output shaft 727 w/a Gear Vendors into a '67-up A-Body?

Has anyone done this? I have this torqflite with a stubby output shaft. It was a Craigslist find. The previous owner did not know where it originated from. How about you guys??? There is no bolt flange in the back, so it doesn't look like a drum parking brake-equipped motorhome...

    72 duster 440 swap

Josh Nice Duster, & great wheel choice. Post more pictures! I believe I'm using the same oil pan as you on my '68 383 Dart. If you are using the one with 187 stamped on the rear 1/2 of it, mine interfered with the center link right where the cutout ends. A little hammer persuasion created...

26 inch radiator in a duster?

I am running a 27" radiator out of a, say, '89 B250 Van in my '68 Dart! After mulling over measurements, I dove in & ordered that radiator since it was cheap. I did have to take a cutting wheel to the core support flanges on both sides of the bottom of the new radiator, and notch the battery...

    [SOLD] 7 1/4 rear axle

Up for sale is a 7 1/4" axle out of my 1968 Dart. This rear worked well, and was pulled out of the car a couple of months ago. It was pulled because it was replaced by an 8 3/4" rear axle. The car got a big block swapped in and the Slant-6 was removed at the same time. This axle was never...

    [Found!] '68 Dart instrument cluster

Whole cluster would be better. I'm hoping to present one for Xmas (my Dart is really my son's car & he's driving it). If it needs a little refurb, its ok. Email me pictures of what you have--you actually have my email from a couple of purchases in the past! Big thanks.

    [FOR SALE] 1966 440 Block--cracked

I have a 1966 440 block that didn't pass inspection at my machine shop. The cracks are 1 on each side, near where cylinders are. My machinist says he could probably "pin" it, but since they are near cylinder barrels, they probably won't hold over the long term with a performance build, which is...

Up for sale is a 7 1/4" axle out of my 1968 Dart. This rear worked well, and was pulled out of the car last month. It was pulled because it was replaced by an 8 3/4" rear axle. The car got a big block swapped in and the Slant-6 was removed at the same time. This axle was never operated behind...
