    Patina Paint Job

I think you made the right choice, Caleb. Instead of losing 5 years and a lot of inspiration, you gained 5 years of fun and experience bringing the car back to life. You even fulfilled a huge bucket list item by bringing it to the Nats, and I know that was high on your list. You can always strip...

Try SMS auto fabrics out of Oregon for the vinyl. They are the nations largest supplier of NOS fabrics for all makes of cars, they are the source that all the upholstery manufacturers use, including Legendary, when aftermarket fabric is not being produced. If they don’t have it nobody will. They...

Is there a "Master Kit" out there for window felts, weatherstrip, window rubbers?

Unlike other brands and models where there are entire kits available, nobody in the Mopar realm does this. My GTO buddy claims that he can buy a complete interior kit for his cars for $800, seat covers and door panels included! Everything is cheaper outside of Moparland!

    Drip rail Install help

I hook em on the bottom, use some soapy water to keep it wet, and use the palm of my hand to press it back on, starting at the rear and working forward. Most times it will snap righ on with a pressing and sliding action with your palm, hence the soapy water!

Passenger side mirror for 65 Barracuda

His mirror is correct for 67 and up, his car should have the twin post mirror. I have a twin post passenger mirror here, and upon close inspection I’ve found that it is the same mirror as on the drivers side. The mirror on his car is also not in the correct location, but short of moving it and...

1967 Barracuda trunk trim top and bottom different or the same?

Luckily, the repop piece is patterned after the lower piece, which is the one that’s always damaged!

    vinyl top glue

There are diamond imbedded sanding discs that do a good job on hard to cut old paint, my neighbor used them to remove some old paint on his register covers that nothing else would touch! Might be an option. I have that project looming also!

How can you tell difference between 67-69 Barracuda doors

The interior bracing for the vent window frame is also different between the years, but I think the mystery has been solved here, that’s a 69 notchback door.

Spinning studs on barracuda grill, any tricks?

I’ve encountered this many times on 67-8 grilles. I’ve had some success with applying pressure by pulling against the stud while trying to loosen the Palnut, and if it’s still in the car, that may be the only way. If it’s out of the car, you may be able to slip the end of a small flathead...

    Windshield code of fender tag?

The glass is not coded on the fender tag, but would be in the buildsheet, and would include the windshield. I do believe that all fronts are the same tint tho, with the 20% tint on the top being the rule.

    Green vinyl top

I stopped and looked at a triple green 69 Coronet a couple years ago. And the green vinyl top had a unique grain to it as well. Not being versed in 69 Dodge B bodies, I didn't question it, and being before the time of the picture phone, I didn't get a pic!
