Bring my 73 dart swinger back to life.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that is a 73 Dart wiper motor. (maybe a 73 2 speed) My 73 Swinger has a different drive shaft that cambers off center when park engages.

    Picking some brains.....

Yes but how many red 68 Darts are there? :-) Red and silver both look good together too, but I personally don't like 2 color paint jobs very much.

    69 Dart side markers

Yea, at idle we can use all the available amps we can get. In not to long here I'm going to do the headlights relays conversion to help that even more.

    69 Dart side markers

Wiring would be exactly the same, but since LEDS are diodes they would have to have the positive and negative connected to the right wires to work. (unlike a regular light the pos and neg can't be switched and still light the bulb) Just so you know, all of my tail, brake, turn and marker...

    Mini Starter and headers

Just not too long ago did the same with my 73 Dart with a 318 and a mini starter out of a Ram 1500. Had to pry the engine over to the passenger side as far as possible, and they are SERIOUS about the header going striaght up and then forward. After trying and trying, it finally found the one...

    73 dart project

NICE! I have a 73 also, and don't care for the front end either. I'd much rather have the pre 73 front end. Some day, maybe.

    No title

You might have to decide which is better. Pay the lien or give up the car. Take it down and find out, it's not like they will take the car or anything. They just won't title it for you. I didn't need the bond for one I registered until the motor dept told me to go get it, so you won't even...

    Over heating!

Believe me you will be glad you did it. It SUCKS sitting stuck in traffic and watching your gauge steadily climb and not a damn thing you can do about it.

    Over heating!

I do have electric on my mild 318, but I wouldn't even think about electric with a big block. (Need so much CFM) that the power draw would be knarly. I ran and had issues with a 440 in my Roadrunner and this is my own best oppinion of what works well with them reliably. Clutch fan Good...

    Over heating!

There's your problem.:D Especially if it's fine above 35 mph or so. Like 1968Formula said, "You really do need to get it out and run it" before you can determin what you need to do, but I will tell you this. There are VERY few people that are lucky enought to run a big block without a shroud and...

    1970 duster-modified on a budget

We have some neighborhoods around here that will fine ya 250 bucks for having YOUR own car in YOUR own driveway. They want them in the garage at all times. One of my customers was threatend with a fine for my car being parked in front of the house while I was fixing thier computer.

    question for you resto experts

It's kinda hard to believe that they stuck the distributor in before the manifold and valve covers when they painted. A long *** time ago it was popular to paint your engine electrics red. Kinda ghetto simulated MSD. Every time I have ever seen it since, reminds me that it was so prevalent that...

    question for you resto experts

That's been painted by someone, but not the factory. Laquer thinner works good for that and a terrycloth rag to get into the corners. Don't submerge it, do it by hand with the rag and your good.
