Is the transmission 2000 Dodge Durango R/T 5.9 dead?

The reverse had pretty much stopped working, even though I could hear it engage. All other gears worked just fine, up until the other day. Drive well engage for a second, then will stop working. Not sure if it's the solenoid, bands, or the Governor Pressure Sensor, or it's just dead.

Going to Check Out a "Barn Find"

That’s frustrating to experience. Do you know if the car is still not sold? I suppose after a period of time the seller will realise his asking price is out of touch with reality. It all comes down to how badly does he want to sell it.

    radiator leak cause question

With plastic tanks it doesn't take much effort to make them leak. If the core-support was hit hard enough to make it diamond shaped, you can bet the plastic will leak, sooner or later. If your cooling system is operating properly, the ambient temp will not affect it. If the pressure in the...

[FOR SALE] Holley Manual Choke Parts

Does anyone have a use for some left over Holley Manual Choke Parts? I bought the 45-223 kit 20+ years ago to convert to an electric choke. These are the parts left after the conversion. $20.00. Local pickup or buyer pays shipping.

    radiator leak cause question

Those radiators have plastic upper and lower tanks that have the core crimped to them with a rubber gasket sandwiched in between- a hit could have shifted it and caused the crimping/gasket to fail (your "massive leak along a seam"). It doesn't take much to make those things spring a leak... I'd...

    radiator leak cause question

A hit can tweak things. May be the tank was on the edge and a tweak put it over the edge.

A week later the radiator top tank sprung a massive leak along a seam. do you think the accident caused this or there were several 100 degree days right prior to it leaking. If you guys think yes I will...

    Parts Interchange Manual

This is the first time this has happened since I've been using this manual. The manual does not list a fuel filler neck as a component. Under "Fuel System", it lists gas tanks, and it list gas caps, carburetors, intake manifolds, air cleaners, etc., etc. But there is no listing for the filler...
