    Anybody play buck?

It's kind of cool how different regions have their own versions of classic card games, right? Buck Euchre adds this whole new layer of strategy and excitement to the traditional Euchre game. The rules can take a bit to get used to, but once you do, it's so much fun.If you're ever looking for a...

Here you go, Piston area and force.

Do you even read what I'm posting, I never claimed larger piston just magically makes Hp, I've said that repeatedly in this thread, we've been talking about force and torque, you keep saying if larger pistons apply more force to the crank its free Hp which is wrong and I've explained why a...

you have a cone type sure grip -- thrust button shown in the pic is correct for the cone type sure grip and looks to be ok -- looks like the pinion bearings gave up or the yoke nut backed off and the pinion was chewing on your carrier -- the pic you posted of the backing plate shows the turned...

Problems Identifying and Matching up new Brake Calipers

a lot of 14" aftermarket wheels don't work with stock 73~76 disc setups, even less work with aftermarket disc setups. you'll need to measure your wheels and then consult the brake kit mfgr's wheel fitment diagrams to see if they're compatible. here's one from wilwood as an example:

Problems Identifying and Matching up new Brake Calipers

Yes, the red monster is rubbing my new 14 inch wheels. So, I am looking for a compatible low profile upgrade.

Problems Identifying and Matching up new Brake Calipers

there are many aftermarket brake kits. maybe you could tell us what you're trying to accomplish and we could help you out better. i see that the caliper is spray painted and it has a big ol witness mark on it, so i'm gonna guess you're trying to find a "low profile" caliper to fit a specific rim.

    Overheating at idle

Don't forget than that when you increase pump speed, you also increase fan speed to help pull more through the rad.

Here you go, Piston area and force.

OK, Back to the topic. I should have been more specific. Waaaaaay back in another thread, 273 claimed that a bigger piston made more hp because of the increased area. The extra area created more 'push'. Not on it's own. There is a sequence of events that occur to make this happen. The...

Best cam for the street both power & sound

i responded previously in post #6, but since you asked... i think that there are many better cams for the application, but value for money wise it's probably the best choice after a white box melling grind. the 6901 is kind of an amalgamation of 68 340 4spd, 340 AT and MP cam specs with some...

Don't read if you're close minded

Roger Huntington made a very good point in his American Supercars book. Ferd built the 429 Shotgun engine with huge intake ports to beat the 426 Hemi. Only 'half' worked..... Ferds were quicker on long tracks, Hemi was quicker on short tracks...

    64 - 66 Barracuda Spear trim repair

The aluminum 66 spears are soft and get bent easily. I'd think not so easy to straighten, though. And really would need to be re-anodized to look worth a crap if straightened. As Syleng1 noted, the 64-65 spears are stainless steel, much stronger, more durable finish, but also narrower. Not a...
