I agree with @barbee6043. You have a very easy patch section to do, if you know how to weld. A good patch will require a good butt weld. Watch a couple of episodes of Fitzee’s Fabrication on YouTube to see how he butt welds. You have to go back a couple of years to see some of the good ones...

I think I would agree with that. I have the XE 268 in my 340, and I LOVE it. It has a nice choppy idle, and plenty of power. It might be a bit much for the average 318, so the XE 262 would probably be a good choice.

I posted about this about a week ago. I bought it at O'Reilly's. Follow the instructions. When you spray it on, you can literally see the brown melting off the letters. The left side of the tire below is after one application. The original brownish letters are on the right.
