    1963 Dart 170 2 Door Post Resto

I'm not good verbally describe what I picture in my head, so please bear with me. For the distributor, hack it off like an inch below the main body (where the cap sits) and and flush or maybe half an inch above the flange where the distributor hold down rests. Weld them together. Have the shaft...

Moroso used to/may still make an offset air cleaner assembly. Good for clearing an HEI distributor. The base may have been similar to the Chevy L88 style drop-base air cleaner though.

Now that you say that, I can't imagine that little wire clip holds the bars in place...but it does hold pistons pins in place. Maybe the hex the bar goes in is just a bit bigger and when the bar is adjusted, it locks the bar in place. Kinda like a mm nut in a fractional socket.

1969 Dart Pro touring daily driver **Crashed**

With the torsion bars fitting snug against the clip, if there is any flex, could it pop the clips out? It's been a long time since I've swapped bars and don't remember the amount of spacing there was. Keep up the great work!

what is the saying about having no luck at all? your balancer problem reminds me of a friends problem. blasting down the hiway, smoke starts rolling out from under the car. He slows down, nurses it to where he is going. it's dark out, of course. no oil. puts oil in, starts it up, no noise, good...

    Slant Six Roadster Build

Thank you for sharing your adventure. Two personal questions and you don't have to answer if I'm being too nosey: 1) what does the car weigh? 2) how much did it cost or what would it cost to replace today? This seems like the easiest way to "build" a car for low $$$ and BIG fun! Thanks! Bob

is this the brackets used for an A-body power brake booster? A friend did that on his 66 A-body and had issues that I believe he decided was related to the pedal ratio.

same thing for mounting the gauge on the cowl: two stainless steel sheet metal screws into an aluminum plate in the cowl. held the plate in place with tape through the drivers side vent box.
