@Mattax they do a morning walk of the course. It typically has one tricky corner (end closes to the drag strip) and it's very easy to miss one cone and trash the whole run. @Tuesday you can watch some videos from previous years on YouTube, layout hardly changes much if any.

Couple pairs of SB chrome covers, NOS rear spoiler and a heavily used air cleaner nut. Plus a few books and other smalls.

Finally finished with all the small stuff on it and had to see the grille out in the sunlight after redoing it.

Well it vibrates less and shifts better now, probably should've changed it when I done the 4 speed but it didn't look this bad.

Got the grille back together and in it yesterday along with knocking out most of the other small things on it. It came out pretty good, color is a touch darker which is fine with me. Also happy the stupid passenger side headlight no longer is sticking out of the bezel.

Got the grille painted today, way better. I know it should be more of a matte but I don't mind it.

It still could use another wash, it was bad lol.

Time to dig into other small things that have bugged me for some time. Paint job is starting to show it's age but I'm not doing that again lol. Passenger side headlight bucket retaining spring is stretched so replacing it, grille could use a refinish. Then a fresh transmission mount and couple...

I've not done much with the car in the last couple years, recently dug it out and dealt with some small issues it was having. Ended up developing an overcharging issue and swapped valve covers back to fix an oil leak it had. Still need to do a transmission mount on it though.

150mph was an option per the '68 sales book.

Only place I know up that way would be Quinlin Automotive on Madison Ave.

Finally had a sunny day around here.

Got it drug back home, now to finish getting the last bit of engine stuff for it.

First time in 30+ years it hasn't had a lift off hood, also had to see the color in the sunlight.

I'm the same way but I wanted to just start with the bay so I can get the drivetrain and whatnot back in. Then once it's running/driving I can worry about the outside of it.

Last round of sanding is done, looking like paint Wednesday.

Got all the final body work (upper corners of cowl were bashed in for the hood pins) and last coat of primer laid on it today.

Got most of it in primer now.

Got most of the filler on and blocked then the first coat of primer down. Passenger side turned out a little better in my eyes but nothing more blocking won't fix.

Didn't have as much time for it today but got the first coat of filler down and sanded.
