Didn’t see a price.

1971 340 Duster with 9,700 miles! The original owner purchased this car new and immediately started racing it. About 9,600 miles were put on it in the first year by daily driving it and flat towing it behind another vehicle to the drag strip. The next 100 miles or so were put on it the following years and then put away in 1974. The trailer is a 1972 and was purchased in 1976 when the owner moved from Ohio to Pennsylvania. The car is all original other than the modifications that were done to go racing! Everything that was replaced the owner kept including the wheels and tires, leaf springs etc. He even kept the original heater hoses!

Looks nice. Damn thing is all over the internet.

The trunk is a time capsule of parts and pieces, I spy a can of B&M Trik Shift in there.

It's kind of sad in a way, held onto it for that many years and never got to enjoy it again. I'd be curious to hear the story, life happens......

Dig that fly eye air cleaner. Don’t see too many of them around anymore and when you do they are expensive.

That's a time capsule for sure. It would be nice to see it go down the track once again! 65

This is my Duster that was Purchased new in Florida and immediately sent over to the Sox and Martin Shop where they built it to E/SA specs. For a local business man here in Tuscaloosa. Bill Barkley is his name. When I bought the car from him in 1982 it had never been driven on the street. It had 375 miles on the odometer when I bought it. I drove it on the street for about a thousand miles and then made a super pro braket car out of it.
