Ok thank you the other thing that is wrong is it has a 9 1/8 clutch in it is there any way to put a 10 or 10 1/2 in it and how would I know if the gears 3.09 thank you agian

Well the car is labeled v8 and has a 4 speed in it and I'm sure it's all factory I've seen some really good fakes and some really bad ones it has a 318 in it now I drug it out of a backyard where it has been sitting since the 90s

The so number matches the fender tag and the vin is a 4 I wonder because the barracuda was released at half year mark

The numbers do match the fender tag though

What number is supposed to be the vin because none of numbers match anything on mine

That is a good question I didn't look at that it came out of the back seat in the car when I got it it's definitely a manual car or they did a really good job at faking it including the rusted out floor thank you

I will check all of that fluid is fine it doesn't make any noise at idle. I don't think I could feel anything in the pedal either I will drive it some more today and let you know thank you

Yes that's where I got the 70 from can't make out the month to much grime I know it has flat top pistons in it that's about it

I have a 1964 Barracuda and it has a 1970 318 in it I just found the numbers on the front of the block trying to figure out what it is #GM 318 R if anyone can help that would be great
