All loaded up and ready to roll for a slant 6 Race weekend - 1/8 mile at Knoxville Dragway TN. I know there is another large MoPar event at norwalk this weekend as well, but for the dwindiling Slant 6 world this will be the biggest event this year with Gill Welding giving out some prizes and...

[WANTED] A833 shifter needed for A body

Hi, I now have a shifter hump, and an A833 for my '63 Dart. The shifter which came with the trans was just pulled out of a box by the seller of the A833~ I actually don't know if the shifter is any good or not. The shifter does not fit the shifter plate on the transmission. Plus the shifter rods...

    On the Streets!

After getting a wheel alignment this week, I finally got the opportunity to put up some street miles on my 1970 VF Valiant Hardtop! Still a few minor things to sort but it was a great experience after all these years of work in the garage!

    360 Plug help

Well I got it back together and it runs so rich at idle I need to pull the PCV vacuum hose off to get it to idle. Off idle sounds great, idle sucks donkey balls. I put everything in the sonic cleaner when it was apart to clean them then blew out all the passages unless the idle one I need to...

    Drag Week 2024 live feed..

I remember him going out last year so had to look it up. Looks like he won in 2022, the year the last day got canceled due to rain. Wasn't doubting him, I root for him every year and it seems like he always broke. Glad to see he has a class win.

My plans for my 69 Dart Swinger 340

I plan to do a bit of a raked look on my 68. I’m gonna go with SS leaf springs to achieve it. I’m also gonna gonna go with manual steering as well. There are some aftermarket brake kits that give ya the option to keep the small bolt patten but big bolt is also readily available

    .480/230 cam in an 8.5 CR 360?

Richard Holdener basically say same thing from all of the dyno runs he's done the curve is gonna be pretty much the same just it's gonna be a little higher or lower overall depending on the cr. .5 cr ain't gonna make much difference.

What are you looking to spend? I had one I sold to a friend who still has it & doesn't know what he has. It has a solid frame & typical small body rust spots but, it's a factory 1995 (OBD1) 5.2l, reg cab short bed, 2wd automatic with factory 3:91 8 1/4" locking rear.

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

Exactly. Even if there was concrete poured, the substrate would still have to be X thick and compacted before the X inches thick crete was poured. Probably 8" thick. At $120 a cu/ft. a 12' wide driveway 10' long would cost $360. Do the math from there. No labor, grading , or materials for that.

Can't Find My Oil Filter Wrenches Anywhere Today

You just brought back horrible memories, when my sister asked me to change oil in the "new to her corvette" Damn oil filter was so tight, oil filter wrench crushed the oil filter, then the screwdriver trick did not work. Ended up it took an air-chisel to spin the base of the filter off. To this...

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

The fire dept wants the dirt area and the gravel drive area both tested. The gravel area isn't a legit compacted driveway. It's just dirt with gravel laid on top that's been driven on here and there for years. It's naturally compacted but not legit compacted. So far I've had about 10 geo...

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Thank you Neil! You answered my questions which are in my brain! ;) Do I just cut the hole/access, then put the transmission/shifter up through the hole to make sure the shifter is centered to the hump? I don't have a shifter yet:( guess I'll put out a wanted shifter post now.
